Unfortunately, Indian babies are still suffering from treatable disorders due to a lack of awareness and participation of the state and central governments in this matter. Suffering parents, researchers working on IEMs, doctors who are managing and detecting the disorders should come together and convince the govt of India the importance for an effective Newborn Screening policy.
